Three transfer portal names are off the board following a weekend of moving and shaking around college basketball.
Robert Morris transfer Alvaro Folgueiras, the Horizon League Player of the Year, committed to Iowa over the weekend. He had been mentioned as a potential Kentucky target, but the actual level of interest is unknown.
North Dakota transfer Treysen Eaglestaff flipped to West Virginia just days after decommitting from South Carolina. I’m not sure Kentucky ever had any interest in Eaglestaff although his name was floated around on social media.
North Carolina guard Ian Jackson committed to Rick Pitino and St. John’s this morning.
With the addition of Denzel Aberdeen this afternoon, it’s not clear if Kentucky will add anyone else from the transfer portal.
If they do, some names that are still floating around out there are Chad Baker-Mazara (Auburn), Rylan Griffen (Kansas), Andrej Stojakovic (California), Braydon Hawthorne (High School) and Harun Zrno (International).
Sources: North Carolina transfer Ian Jackson has committed to St. John's.
