According to multiple reports, the Kentucky men’s basketball coaching staff is literally going to all ends of the planet to find another big man for the upcoming season.
Two names that have been mentioned so far are Zvonimir Ivisic (Croatia) and Abdullah Ahmed (Egypt).
Ivisic is a versatile 7-foot-3 forward who can handle the ball, shoot from the outside and work in the paint. Ahmed is a 6-foot-10 forward with a similar skillset.
Call it a hunch: Kentucky is definitely still in the market for a big man and might be scouring multiple continents to find one that fits.

Some “scuttlebutt” that Kentucky is showing some interest in a few international prospects.

7’2 Zvonimir Ivišić showcased some insane flashes at U20 this year
At 7’2 he moves insanely well… as well as hitting off the dribble 3s.
Also averaged 3.2 BPG and shot 34% from deep

Memphis fans need to have their eye on this name.
7’2” C Zvonimir Ivisic
Memphis is heavily involved with him, multiple sources tell me and @BluffCity_Media.
Kentucky is also in there. Will likely come down to those two teams. https://t.co/ElBymz8st3 pic.twitter.com/jHWLFRQrto
