The Boyle County Rebels (13-0) just traveled four hours to far Eastern Kentucky, where they knocked off the Belfry Pirates 41-24 in front of a raucous crowd.
Belfry dominated the game for much of the first half, but it was Kentucky recruit Reese Smith that took over and led the Rebels to victory.

Smith finished with 6 catches for 138 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also had a key interception, which happened to be Belfry’s fifth turnover of the game.
The Rebels will travel to Corbin for a rematch of last seasons’s 3A championship game next week.
