The Wildcats (30-6) were in trouble late but Tyler Herro drained a three-pointer and some clutch free throws to get the win:

Herro led the Wildcats with 19 points. P.J. Washington, who was officially listed as a game-time decision, came off the bench to score 16.

Armoni Brooks led Houston (33-4) with 20 points.
