Kentucky broke open a close game early in the second half and didn’t look back on the way to a 92-69 exhibition victory over in-state NAIA powerhouse Georgetown College.
The Tigers, with much of their roster back from a Fab Four run, were competitive in the first half. The Wildcats took a 35-34 lead into the break.
Kentucky rolled to a quick double-digit in the early minutes of the second half and Georgetown wasn’t able to recover.
Tre Mitchell led the way with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Antonio Reeves added 18 point. Rob Dillingham chipped in 16 points.
