After a great home visit by @UKCoachCalipari I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Kentucky.

Thiero currently stands 6-foot-5 after growing approximately eight inches since his freshman season in high school.
Here are more details on Thiero from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:
Adou Thiero attended University of Kentucky summer camps twice before fifth and eighth grade, respectively.
“He’s always liked Kentucky growing up,” Al Thiero said. “He went to camp and always liked the players there, and then all of a sudden the coach (Calipari) is in your living room, saying he wants you and to come play for him. That’s a whole lot to handle.
“Adou hasn’t said anything to us yet about what’s on his mind. We’re going to give him some time and then we’ll sit down and talk and see how he processed the information.”
Adou Thiero does not have any official visits planned yet, but Al Thiero said Pitt wants Adou to come to campus either Monday or Wednesday. Pitt has not offered a scholarship.
“They want to sit down and talk about what opportunities they have, if he could fit in and the whole 9 yards,” Al Thiero said.
