The University of Kentucky reportedly made a Class of 2015 scholarship offer on Sunday night to four-star Franklin, Ohio, shooting guard Luke Kennard, whom coach John Calipari scouted at the 16U division of the Nike EYBL Peach Jam over the weekend in North Augusta, S.C.
The news was reported by Cats Illustrated’s T.J. Walker and Blue Devil Lair, which also said that Kennard has added an offer from Duke. Michigan State is another new offer, according to Scout.com analyst Evan Daniels.
The UK offer is a significant one for Kennard, who grew up a fan of the Wildcats and said over the weekend that Tayshaun Prince was his favorite player as a kid.
