Kentucky (2-4) ran a lot of offensive plays this afternoon but didn’t seem to go anywhere in an ugly 14-3 loss to No. 25 Georgia.
The Wildcats held the ball for 35 minutes compared to 25 for Georgia (4-1), but could only manage a field goal in the first half.
In his first career start, quarterback Joey Gatewood was 15-25 for only 91 yards. He recorded 16 rushes for 23 yards.
Running back Chris Rodriguez was Kentucky’s lone bright spot offensively as he carried it 20 times for 108 yards against a stout Georgia defense.

Kentucky has a bye coming up and will be hoping to rebound against Vanderbilt on November 14.
What’s crazy about UK’s Offense is it has:
– A top level Offensive Line
– A potentially very good Running Back
– A QB who is 14-6 at Kentucky
Yet the offense is dreadful game after game
That needs explanation
