Kentucky slowly but surely pulled away from No. 9 Kansas in the second half to win 71-63 in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.
The Wildcats (16-3) were led by their big men. P.J. Washington finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Reid Travis added 18 points and 12 boards.

Keldon Johnson contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds for Kentucky. The Wildcats out-rebounded Kansas 50-36.
Dedric Lawson finished with 20 points and 15 rebounds for Kansas (16-4).

Kentucky has now won six consecutive games. They travel to Vanderbilt and Florida next week in SEC action.
