Jayden Raney, a star athlete from Union County High School, won the U17 world championship in 55kg Greco-Roman Wrestling on Tuesday.
Raney won five matches to earn his medal in Amman, Jordan. He was down 6-0 in the semifinals, but delivered a stunning pin with 2-seconds left in the first period to advance to the U17 World finals.
