Kentucky is headed to the Sweet 16 for a showdown against Tennessee

Kentucky cruised to a somewhat comfortable 84-75 win over Illinois Sunday evening to punch its ticket into the Sweet 16.

Koby Brea led the Wildcats (24-11) with 23 points, which ties his career high. At one point in the second half, Brea went on a personal 10-0 run to help propel Kentucky to victory.

Otega Oweh finished with 15 points despite having his minutes limited by first half foul trouble. Lamont Butler added 14 points, 5 assists and 3 steals. Amari Williams chipped in 8 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.

In the Sweet 16, Kentucky will battle SEC rival Tennessee in Indianapolis. The Cats have two wins over the Volunteers this season.
