CBS Sports unveiled their updated Top 25 And 1 rankings this morning and Kentucky comes in at No. 20.
Meanwhile, North Carolina, fresh off an old school beating at the hands of Louisville (which Kentucky beat handily), is still No. 12.
Oh and there is also that matter of Kentucky actually beating North Carolina head-to-head on a neutral court a few weeks back.
Here’s what the site says about both teams:
12 N. Carolina The Tar Heels have one of the sport’s weirdest resumes. They’ve beaten Gonzaga at home and NC State on the road, but lost to Texas on a neutral court and been blown out at home by Louisville. — 13-4
20 Kentucky The Wildcats’ resume features four wins over top-100 KenPom teams — most notably victories over North Carolina and Louisville. UK’s losses are to Duke, Seton Hall and Alabama. — 13-3
