According to multiple reports, Kentucky is closing in on BYU’s Mark Pope to take over the men’s basketball program.
Pope, a member of Kentucky’s 1996 national championship team, led the Cougars to a 23-11 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance this season. He was 110–52 (.679) in five seasons with BYU.
Previously, Pope was 77–56 (.579) in four seasons at Utah Valley.
