Kentucky exploded in the first half to take a 39-19 halftime lead this afternoon at Rupp Arena.
Of course, the Volunteers made a run to cut the lead down to single digits in the second half, but the Wildcats were able to thwart the rally.
Kentucky (18-9, 9-5 SEC) managed to earn a huge 66-54 victory, which makes their path to the NCAA Tournament much easier.
Oscar Tshiebwe and Cason Wallace led the way for Kentucky with 16 points each. Chris Livingston added a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
