Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers.
The Kentucky Wildcats committed 18 turnovers and the Arkansas Razorbacks took full advantage as they beat the Wildcats at 73-60 Bud Walton Arena.
As bad as the Wildcats played, they were only down 3 at the half, but a 10-0 run after 2 Alex Poythress free throws to begin the second half was the beginning of the end for Kentucky’s chances of getting a much needed NCAA tournament resume building win.
Ryan Harrow, who only had 3 turnovers in the last 3 games, had 3 in the 9 minutes he played in the 1st half and it really set the tone as the backcourt play was miserable handling the pressure of Arkansas.
Although the Razorbacks only shot 34%, they had 26 more attempts.
Needless to say, Kentucky still has a long way to go to make the NCAA Tournament and winning games is at a premium for a team that is 1-4 vs. top 50 teams in the RPI.
