After bringing in a top 20 class for 2014, Mark Stoops and staff are gearing up for another top 25 class in 2015. As of right now Kentucky sets at #24 nationally according to 247sports and #22 according to rivals.com
Kentucky’s had a lot of success recruiting in Ohio since Stoops and company arrived in Lexington, and this year is no different.
Here is what Brian McLaughlin of saturdaydownsouth.com had to say about Kentucky’s class.
Four of the program’s nine commitments are from Ohio, and of course 2014′s signing class was loaded with Ohio natives. The class is rated No. 24 overall in the nation and is working hard the state’s No. 1 recruit, RB Damien Harris, a five-star stud who formerly was on board with Michigan. Offensive tackle George Brown Jr. is another prime target. The No. 2 player in Kentucky, Eli Brown, came aboard as part of that May flood … he’s a former Vandy recruit.
