Mark Stoops announced today that 2 players are doubtful for Saturday’s game with Ohio and a linebacker is out for the season with shoulder surgery.
Here are the quotes:
On any changes to Braylon Heard’s status: “No. Like I said yesterday, he’s questionable. More than likely will not play. He tried to get out there today, run around a little bit, so we’ll see. Maybe he’ll heal up. I’m not trying to hold anything. It’s just the way I feel right now and the way he looks right now it’s questionable.”
On if Javess Blue practiced this week: “Javess did not practice.”

On Kobie Walker tweeting about surgery: “Yeah, he came in with a shoulder and we just feel it’s in his best interest to get it done right now, and that way he can get back in winter and get some weight-lifting and get some conditioning in and be close to a hundred percent or a hundred percent for spring. He’s going to be a very good player. I just want to get that shoulder fixed and let him hit that weight room. He just needs to gain a little weight and he’s going to be a great player. So he’ll be ready to roll next year.”
