Tom Groeschen of the Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting that Kentucky is in discussions with the University of Cincinnati about a possible home and home series in football.
UC also is discussing a home-and-home football series with Kentucky, but the sources said a future series with longtime rival Louisville appears unlikely for now. Louisville competed against UC for many years in different leagues, most recently the American Athletic Conference, before the Cardinals joined the Atlantic Coast Conference this season.
