Rivals.com ranked Laster as the No. 35 outside linebacker nationally and the No. 34 prospect from Ohio in the class of 2013.
He sat out the 2013 season as a redshirt, then made his debut for the Golden Gophers in 2014 — playing in nine games and registering seven tackles. Laster also earned Academic All-Big Ten honors last season.
This is the fourth player originally from Ohio that UK has secured as a transfer in recent months.
