Mark Stoops has been hitting the recruiting trail hard since being named Kentucky’s Head Football Coach a little over a year ago, and coming off a 2-10 season, the hard work Mark and his staff are putting in is paying big dividends.
Kentucky received a commitment from four-star defensive back Kendall Randolph earlier this week, (who everybody expected to go to Oklahoma) and today Kentucky flipped three-star offensive lineman Josh Krok from West Virginia.
With two commitments this week UK moves up to #13 in rivals team rankings, the bad thing is Kentucky is still 7th in the SEC.
Kentucky is still in good shape for some more highly ranked recruits like Matt Elam, former UK commit Derrick Kelly, and few others. There will also likely be a surprise recruit or two on signing day.
Kentucky has 10 four-star recruits for the 2014 class and it could get even better by signing day, which is Feb. 5.
Mark Stoops has recruited 13 four-star players since coming to Lexington, the previous two staffs only had 14 combined.
