Kentucky dominates Wright State in first game of Mark Pope era

Kentucky opened the Mark Pope era with an impressive 103-62 win over Wright State on Monday night at Rupp Arena.

The Wildcats (1-0) had 30 assists (and just 7 turnovers) on 39 made baskets in the win.

Otega Oweh led the way with 21 points on 8-for-9 shooting. Koby Brea came off the bench to add 18 points. Amari Williams produced the season’s first double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Lamont Butler chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.
