Kentucky dismantles Kentucky Wesleyan in Mark Pope’s exhibition debut

Kentucky broke the game open early with a big run and never looked back on the way to a 123-52 exhibition win over Kentucky Wesleyan Wednesday night.

The Wildcats torched the nets with 48-for-76 (63.2%) field goal shooting, including 21-for-42 (50%) from the three-point line.

Jaxson Robinson led eight players in double figures with 19 points. Otega Oweh chipped in 18. Ansley Almonor finished with 15 points off the bench on 5-of-7 shooting from long range. Koby Brea, Trent Noah, Lamont Butler, Amari Williams and Andrew Carr also finished in double figures.

The Wildcats will return to action next week with an exhibition game against Minnesota State Mankato on Tuesday night.
