Kentucky Derby favorite Forte has scratched on the day of the race.
Details on why the horse scratched are unknown at this time.
The decision to remove Forte was made after a workout this morning. Trainer Todd Pletcher and owner Mike Repole were seen meeting with a state racing commission veterinarian after the workout.
The field for the 149th Kentucky Derby is now down to 18 horses.
