Kentucky competes, but can’t find enough offense to upset No. 1 Georgia

Kentucky competed but couldn’t quite find enough offense to keep up with No. 1 Georgia this afternoon at Kroger Field.

The Wildcats held the undefeated Bulldogs to just 16 points, but could only manage to score 6. Special teams were an issue again as a bad snap doomed a field goal attempt that could have made the score 16-9 and give Kentucky a chance late.

The standout for Kentucky today was freshman Barion Brown who caught 10 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown.

Will Levis finished 20-for-31 for 206 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.

Kentucky (6-5) will finish up the regular season next weekend against Louisville (7-4).
