Kentucky Comes Up Short At Georgia

Kentucky fought hard, but No. 10 Georgia capitalized on a few Wildcat mistakes to escape with a 21-0 win Saturday in rain-soaked Athens.

Lynn Bowden started at quarterback once gain for Kentucky (3-4, 1-4 SEC), but only managed to go 2-15 for 17 yards through the air against a stout Georgia defense and difficult weather conditions. Bowden also carried the ball 17 times for 99 yards.




Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm also struggled, finishing 9-12 for only 35 yards.

D’Andre Swift led the Bulldogs (6-1, 3-1) with 21 carries for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns.
