Kentucky Basketball Locker Room Renovation Ready for Home Opener

The Kentucky Basketball locker room sounds like it will be ready just in time for the regular season home opener, but it will still be a work in progress.

Lexington Center Corp President and CEO Bill Owen says the University of Kentucky basketball team will be able to move into its re-constructed locker room in Rupp Arena by the time of the home opener on Nov. 16 against Lafayette.

Owen also said it won’t be totally complete as there will still be some work being completed.

Owen said the $3 million project is like a kitchen renovation, where the room is useable, but more work may be needed.
