Kentucky’s 2022 men’s basketball season came to a painful and abrupt halt last night with a bizarre 85-79 loss to Saint Peter’s in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
There were definitely a few bright spots, including one of the all-time great seasons by National Player of the Year Oscar Tshiebwe. Tshiebwe finished up averaging 17.4 points and 15.1 rebounds per game.

– There were 5 double figure scorers, led by Tshiebwe at 17.4 points per game.
– Tshiebwe led the team in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and steals
– Sahvir Wheeler led the team in assists at 6.9 per game; he also had a team-high 91 turnovers
– Kellan Grady was the team’s most effective three-point shooter; he was 88-for-211 (41.7%)
