Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith had a conversation about what Kentucky has accomplished this season with such a young roster.
“The Kentucky kids, sadly, they’re gonna get criticized,” Barkley said after the game. “You go 38-1, there are people gonna takes shots at them for not finishing this thing…”
Smith quickly interrupted Barkley to say, “the ones who don’t know basketball.”
“That’s my point,” Barkley said.
Unfortunately, many members of the national media apparently don’t know basketball as they are hammering the Wildcats on social media.
Succeed and proceed replaced by defeat and depart. Kentucky figures to lose almost every key part from this team.
