Keith Bogans has been traded twice and now has been waived.
The Philadelphia 76ers announced today that they have waived the University of Kentucky Hall of Famer.
It sounds like Bogans wasn’t interested in playing for a team that is in the middle of rebuilding.
“I think with Keith, I’ve coached Keith [in San Antonio],” said (76ers head coach) (Brett) Brown, a former Spurs assistant. “He’s a highly competitive player. He’s a good player. You know it’s not sort of the plans. He’s looking to get with a different type of program in regards to not in the rebuilding mode.
“We are trying to identify youth. It’s just one of those things we wish him well. He’s a good player and a highly competitive person.”
