The Associated Press has announced that Paintsville’s Kash Daniel is the 2015 Kentucky Mr. Football.
Daniel came up short of a state title but his 158 tackles and 37 combined touchdowns on offense earned the senior linebacker recognition as Kentucky’s Mr. Football by members of The Associated Press.
“I just tried to stay in control and get better in getting to the ball,” said Daniel, who will play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl game for high school seniors on Jan. 9. He’s headed to Kentucky.
Daniel has signed with UK to play linebacker.
