Julius Randle passed John Wall with the most productive start in the John Calipari era, setting a new mark for points scored by a freshman through the first two games. John Wall held the honor previously with 40 points. In addition, Randle is the first Wildcat since Patrick Patterson (Dec. 2008) to have consecutive 20 point, 10 rebound games.

Randle recorded a double-double in the first HALF of today’s game vs. Northern Kentucky University. He has dominated, scoring a combined 45 points and 29 rebounds in his first two college starts.
