You hear about how Devin Booker is lighting up the NBA with the Phoenix Suns. You hear about how Anthony Davis and Karl-Anthony Towns are both having highlight-reel nights every night. You hear that Demarcus Cousins is about to sign a real big contract with the Sacramento Kings. What you don’t really hear about is just how nice of a year John Wall is having.
If you were to tell me that John Wall was producing solid numbers in the NBA this season, I’d nod my head, I know that he has the ability to do that and normally does. However, if you were to tell me he was ranked in the top 20 in assists, steals, fast break points and points per game, I’d be surprised that I hadn’t heard more about that.
Right now, here is what John Wall is putting up for the Washington Wizards:
- 22.8 points per game (17th in the NBA)
- 2.25 steals per game (2nd in the NBA)
- 5.6 fast break points per game (6th in the NBA)
- 10.3 assists per game (3rd in the NBA)
Quite impressive for the point guard who seems to be flying under the radar this season.
