John Calipari was on the summer SEC Teleconference today and one of the main topics was Archie Goodwin’s status in the NBA Draft.
Cal still thinks Goodwin has a shot to be a #1 pick.
“I still think he’ll have a chance in the first round,” Calipari said. “He’s got to make it work. He’s got to have both feet in.”
Cal thinks age is on his side, but at the same time he also said he thought it was in Goodwin’s best interest to stay at Kentucky.
Calipari also threw in one of his classic quotes:
“I think he’s gonna be fine.”
