John Calipari met with the media following the NCAA Tournament Selection Show earlier tonight.
Calipari reacted to drawing Providence in the first round and made some announcements.
For starters, Cal said he has named Jacob Toppin and Lance Ware team captains prior to the NCAA Tournament so they can hold each other accountable.
In addition, Calipari said four players sat out of practice last week, including Toppin. He said if players don’t practice every day this week, they will not start in Friday’s game against Providence.
