There has been a lot of discussion recently about how Kentucky fans will react to John Calipari when he returns to Rupp Arena Saturday night.
Calipari expects to be booed by at least some UK fans. He then went into his spill about shooting arrows through his bazooka holes.
“We’re gonna have three players that played there. My guess is they’re gonna get booed,” Calipari said in a recent media appearance. “My guess is I’m gonna get booed…But that’s all part of it. I mean, shoot, you get booed. I’ve done this so long. I tell you I got bazooka holes in my body. So when you shoot arrows, it doesn’t even hit skin, it just goes through one of those bazooka holes.”
Here is Coach Cal talking about Saturday’s game against Kentucky:
John Calipari on returning to Lexington/Rupp Arena, expecting to likely be boo’d by Kentucky fans.
“I’m not really looking forward to it (getting boo’d)… I don’t know how I’m going to take it, to be honest with you. I mean, that was a special time in my life.”
