John Calipari gave some thoughts on Lance Ware after Ware announced his decision to enter the transfer portal this morning.
Calipari said Ware is welcome to return if he doesn’t find the opportunity he’s looking for and noted that Lance is Ellen Calipari’s favorite player.
“Lance has gotten better every year,” Calipari said. “He’s an exceptional leader & as good a teammate as I’ve ever coached. He knows he is welcome to return if he doesn’t find the opportunity he’s looking for.”
