After two weeks of college football, Jerry Palm is projecting Kentucky to the Music City Bowl against Michigan.
Here’s what Palm says about the game:
Music City Bowl
Projected matchup: Michigan (2-0) vs. Kentucky (2-0)
It might be too early to anoint Michigan as a true contender in the Big Ten, but the style of football that they’re playing right now is sustainable and scary. Sure, the passing attack isn’t where it needs to be yet, but the defense is vicious and the Michigan offensive line absolutely demolished Washington in Week 2. Jim Harbaugh has two running backs, Hassan Haskins (nicknamed thunder) and Blake Corum (nicknamed lightning), who are terrific. Kentucky looks like a completely different team now with Penn State transfer Will Levis under center. The ‘Cats have another star in Chris Rodriguez, who tore up Missouri for 206 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Nebraska transfer Wan’Dale Robinson has given opposing defensive coordinators fits.
