Jalen Johnson says Kentucky as His Dream School is “Kind of Fading Off”

Don’t get too excited about the headline, Jalen Johnson said it, he just doesn’t want to show too much love to one school because people will make assumptions.

Kind of like reading a headline and not reading the story.

Anyway, Johnson recently cut his list to 4: Duke, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Arizona.

24/7 Sports spoke to Johnson about the four schools and here is what he said about Kentucky.

On saying Kentucky is his “dream school”:

“Yeah, that was my dream school growing up. Like every other kid, they all had that one school that they follow or one school that they love. It’s kind of in the recruiting process right now, so it’s kind of fading off–can’t show too much love to one school. People gonna make assumptions.”

On what coach John Calipari has talked to him about:

“He said he can do a lot of things with me, help me be great, really. That’s what his pitch was. A 6-9 playmaker, there’s not too many of those.”
