Adam Zagoria has spoken to Isaiah Briscoe’s father about his son’s sprained ankle that kept him out of yesterday’s Louisville game.
“Definitely negative, so we’re happy about that,” George Briscoe said. “He’s doing fine, the doctor called us and said he’s fine. He said he’s gotta stay off of it for a couple days. It’s swollen but just stay off of it for a couple of days.”
After beating Louisville 75-73 without Briscoe on Saturday at Rupp Arena, the Wildcats don’t play again until Jan. 2 against Ole Miss.
“He’ll be good,” George Briscoe said of his son.
The best news is Briscoe will have a week to get ready.
Kentucky plays Ole Miss to open conference play next Saturday in Rupp Arena.
