Indiana University is finalizing a deal to hire New York Knicks assistant Mike Woodson as the school’s next men’s basketball coach.

Woodson is a former Indiana player with extensive NBA experience. He has never been a college head coach but compiled a 315-365 record in the NBA.
He will be replacing Archie Miller, who was fired after going 67-58 in four seasons.
