Indiana Blog says Kentucky Needs Hoosiers More than They Need the Wildcats

John Calipari was asked again yesterday about not having Indiana on their schedule, and here is what he had to say (11:15 minute mark):

Of course, an Indiana blog has taken note of what Calipari had to say about the series ending, and has thrown their two cents into the discussion.

What Johnnie doesn’t understand is we are Indiana, WE MAKE THE RULES. Johnnie you play by our rules you come to our house or we don’t play you. We don’t need Kentucky on our schedule. Is it fun having them on there beating them? Sure, but we don’t need them.

The Big 10 schedule is a high major league, the SEC is currently mid-major at best. The SEC isn’t near as good as the Atlantic 10 or the Mountain West in 2013-2014. Kentucky needs Indiana on their schedule we don’t Kentucky.

Johnnie is like the kid who gets beat so he takes his ball and runs home. Let’s not forget Hoosier Nation what started this all two years ago today. THE RETURN TO GLORY.

Well, the “Return to Glory” is another great example of how Indiana fans look at success.

Anyone see the Hoosiers in either Top 25 poll yesterday?

How many championships have they won since the player who now plays in Hapoel Eilat of the Ligat Loto league hit that shot in Assembly Hall?

Glory is a pretty loose term, but I guess you can enshrine anything in Bloomington on a popcorn box.
