Last night was the first night Kentucky fans were introduced to freshman quarterback jalen Whitlow.
All the newcomer talk was about Highlands quarterback Patrick Towles, but Whitlow impressed with his ability to run and pass and now one has to wonder what will happen with the quarterback situation now and in the future.
Maxwell Smith was on crutches and a boot after being injured on the second play from scrimmage last night and I think will be doubtful for Mississippi State.
What type of quarterback would you like to have at Kentucky?
One who can make plays with his feet and also be able to throw the football or a pocket type passer that is more one dimensional?
I thought Jalen Whitlow looked more like a modern day SEC quarterback, and with Kentucky not being as talented as most SEC teams, I think the Wildcats need that type of quarterback behind center.
I am sure there ia also an argument for Patrick Towles and I would love to hear that as well, even though I think it is a great decision to redshirt him.
So, lets hear what you think in the commenbts!!
