Heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder punched a mascot in the face in an attempt to show off his punching power on an ESPN show last week.
Unfortunately, Wilder seemed to forget that there was actually a human inside the mascot. The punch allegedly broke the man’s jaw.

UPDATE: According to promoter Lou DiBella, no jaws were broken and the man in the mascot will actually Wilder’s guest at the fight:
WANNA BET, @ladbrokes???? You guys have deep pockets! 1. Of course @BronzeBomber knew that there was a person inside, and 2.Nobody’s jaw got broken and the mascot (who has a decent chin) will be Deontay’s guest at #WilderFury. https://t.co/dZnuOTwdBQ
