Head coach Steve Prohm is stepping down (or being forced out depending on which report you believe) at Murray State University.
Prohm and the Racers have struggled to break through after moving to the Missouri Valley Conference.
Murray State was 16-17 overall this season and 9-11 in the conference. The Racers haven’t finished higher than sixth in the league standing during the last three seasons.

Last season, Murray State finished 12-20 and 9-11 in the league. In 2022-23, MSU was 17-15 and 11-9.
