Harrison Twins Recruiting Update

Tomorrow at 5pm on ESPNU we will all know where Aaron and Andrew Harrison will be attending college, but there is news today that will make Kentucky fans, as well as Maryland fans, feel good about their school getting the dynamic duo.

This one is for Kentucky fans:

Everyone knows how recruits stay in contact with each other nowadays with social media, so you have to like the fact that a ton of top players think the Harrison Twins will pick Kentucky.

Aaron Harrison Sr. had lunch with the Maryland coaching staff today and Eric Prisbell of USA Today spoke with him about what went down.

“Maryland has come on strong in the end,” Harrison Sr. said in a telephone interview after the lunch.

Kentucky is the other finalist.

Harrison Sr. emphasized that there is no division within the family on the decision and that the decision belongs to his sons, who are likely to spend just one year in college before jumping to the NBA.

Take it for what each is worth, but I would still be very surprised if Kentucky doesn’t get the Harrison Twins tomorrow and they attend Big Blue Madness as the newest members of the class of 2013.
