Sister Jean Dolores-Schmidt BMV, aka Sister Jean, is celebrating her 104th birthday today.
Sister Jean, who gained popularity in the college basketball world during Loyola Chicago’s NCAA Tournament appearances, was born on August 21, 1919 in San Francisco, California. She moved to Chicago more than 60 years ago and has remained in the Windy City ever since.
