Lute Olson, one of college basketball’s legendary coaches, passed away tonight at the age of 85.
Olson had a career record of 781–280. He coached Arizona from 1983-2008 and won a national championship over Kentucky in 1997.
Former Arizona coach and Hall of Famer Lute Olson passed way earlier tonight, his wife Kelly told me. Olson was 85 years old.
RIP, Coach.
