Seth Davis of The Athletic has released his bracket prediction and as you could probably guess he has Duke in the Championship Game.
He also has Kentucky in the championship game after beating North Carolina, then Purdue in the Final Four, and eventually losing to Duke in the title game.
I picked Kentucky to beat North Carolina in the regional final. Why? Because I believe they are going to play, and I’m pretty sure one team has to win. I wouldn’t want to draw too many conclusions about the first meeting in Chicago back in December, but I can’t help but recall the way the defensive ability of UK freshman Ashton Hagans was the determining factor in that game. I think Hagans’ ability to muscle up UNC superfrosh Coby White will again be the difference. But these are two great teams, and in the end, the game most likely would be decided by who gets the ball last. I sure hope they play.
For all of their great history, Kentucky and Duke have not met in the NCAA championship game since 1978. Those two blue bloods have given us some of the greatest moments in the history of the sport, so it’s only fair that they do us all a favor and meet in the national championship game again. My bracket says that’s exactly what is going to happen, and when it does the story will be driven by the same basic fact that started off this conversation: One team has Zion Williamson, and one team does not. Even as a freshman, he has owned this season like few players ever have. It’s only fitting that the season will end with Zion wearing a net around his neck.

An interesting tidbit from the Selection Show at Coach Cal’s house was the comment Cal had about Davis when he picked Liberty to upset Mississippi State.
Seth Davis says Mississippi State will get upset by Liberty. Coach Cal says they won't beat Mississippi State. Adds, "Is that your hope or your opinion?"
