Grant Williams scored 43 points to lead No. 1 Tennessee to an 88-83 win at Vanderbilt. Williams was a perfect 23-for-23 from the free throw line.
The Commodores (9-9, 0-6 SEC) were up 76-70 with just over a minute to go in regulation. At that point, referees called a controversial flagrant 1 foul on Vandy, which triggered a 6-0 run for Tennessee to send the game to overtime.
Refs reviewed this and called it a flagrant-1 and essentially gave UT a four-point play. Lol it's like a law that we have to get screwed over. They should have T'd up Williams for the flop pic.twitter.com/J753WNkFbT

There is NO effing way that a flagrant foul should have been called in the Vandy/Tennessee game. These referees have botched this game. My God.

If what Vanderbilt did was a flagrant foul, just abolish basketball. That's just an unconscionably bad call. Tennessee has now tied it up. https://t.co/Vie6CfsNpa

In overtime, Tennessee (17-1, 6-0) managed to pull out the win thanks to a no call by the officials. This play was reviewed and only a common foul was called despite a clear flagrant elbow by Tennessee’s Jordan Bone:
Tennessee and Vanderbilt are heading to OT!
Jordan Bowden's insane dunk keyed a late Vols run to tie it.

Tennessee did have an outstanding dunk late in regulation:
