At the ripe old age of 35, former Kentucky guard Gerald Fitch is still playing basketball.
Fitch has just signed a contract that will bring him back to Puerto Rico’s top-level BSN league.
Here are details from Eurobasket.com:
Piratas de Quebradillas (BSN) signed experienced 35-year old American guard Gerald Fitch (191-8kg-82, college: Kentucky). It is actually his comeback to Piratas as he has played here before. Fitch He just played at San Lorenzo in Argentinian LigaA. In 10 games he had 12.6ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.9apg this season. The last season Fitch played at Marinos in Venezuelan LPB where in 12 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.8ppg, 5.1rpg and 3.6apg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Fitch was voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish ACB Honorable Mention back in 2010 and 2011.
